Erik is born in Zadar, Croatia (1982.). He studied art history and philosophy, but he began to teach himself about film. For about twenty years he is working as a film director and in that time he made over 200 projects which include short films, music videos, and documentaries. For the last ten years, Erik is a member of the Croatian Society of Film Critics. He lives and works in Split, Croatia.
